Chỉ thái độ ứng xử của mỗi hạng người trong công việc và quan hệ: người khôn biết dựa vào thế mạnh, người khéo biết nhờ cậy đúng cách, còn người dại thường phải tự gánh phần thiệt. Thường dùng để nhận xét sự hơn kém về cách xoay xở, ứng xử trong đời sống.

It describes how different kinds of people handle situations: the clever know what to rely on, the skillful know how to ask for help, while the foolish end up bearing the loss themselves. It is used to comment on differences in resourcefulness and social conduct.
